Down from Buffalo
When Sam returns to his hometown to check on his mother, he is reluctantly drawn back into the bitter family dynamic he escaped. His mother lives in denial and on the brink of poverty, just down the road from his wealthy, remarried father. When his younger sister shows up with her band mate looking for money, Sam is forced to reconcile all these relationships at once while trying keep the fragile peace. Walking away could destroy his family. But staying could destroy himself.
